Diego Poloni es un músico brasilero que principalmente se ha hecho conocido por proyectos musicales orientados al hardcore. Sin perjuicio de ello, en este post nos referiremos solamente a uno de sus proyectos solistas: Diego w.p. A diferencia de sus otros trabajos musicales en otras bandas (d., supergoo, my soundtracked life, entre otros), Diego w.p nos refresca con sonidos distintos: un algunas veces pop, algunas veces emo, sobrio y simple que hacen que cada canción sea repetida una y otra vez. Diego w.p. vendría siendo el resultado de la unión entre un emo minimalista y suaves ritmos brasileros. Si quieren darle una escuchada previa, no duden en hacerlo aquí.

my name is diego and i spent most of my teenage years playing in hardcore/punk bands, trying to skateboard and playing video games. ok, i won't lie to you, i still do all those things and i still suck at skateboarding. anyway, here you'll find the songs that i make and that aren't compatible with none of my other bands/projects. to do not leave it forgotten i created this page. hmm, i think it's kind of a solo project.. yeah, we can call it that way! at first i used a 4-track cassette recorder but now i'm using a little more than four tracks on a computer. yeah, yeah, i know, not classy at all, but it work$ fine for me. damn, i gotta say, it's 3am and i just discovered that, besides skateboarding, i also suck at making band bios. i'm sorry for that..

diego w.p. is a diy brazilian musician mostly known in the hardcore community for his band my soundtracked life, but he has spent most of his teenage years playing in a handfull of indie/punk/emo/diy bands.
nowadays he have several solo projects (4-track demos, d. and supergoo) and also plays guitar and sings for the punk band campbell trio, plays guitar and sings for the indie band james andrew pierre and plays acoustic guitar and sings for the acoustic duo duarte & poloni (with andré from 3 segundos antes da queda).
he explores several differents styles, from indiepop to hardcore, jazzy downtempo and eletronica, passing through dub, post-rock and math rock.
